The Connecticut Bioscience Innovation Fund (CBIF), managed by Connecticut Innovations, has awarded $954,000 to bioscience projects during the latest review of project applications.

“During our latest review, we were able to fund a diagnostic test and a therapeutic treatment,” said Margaret Cartiera, director of bioscience initiatives at Connecticut Innovations. “As we progress, we are starting to see a broader range of applicants that have the potential to elevate their respective industries. We continue to encourage submissions from startups, nonprofit organizations and academic institutions as we look to invest in the strongest early-stage research in our state.”
