General Description
The Mount Sinai Genetics Testing Laboratory – Connecticut is a state of the art, high throughput nucleic acid sequencing facility. An extension of the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology and the
Department of Genetics and Genomics, the facility is located on the Connecticut shoreline in Branford,
Connecticut approximately 80 miles from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Working with a
multitude of collaborators both within and outside of Mount Sinai, the charter for the site is the generation of high quality sequencing data that will be utilized to construct precise biological models enabling improved diagnoses and treatment regimens of diseases.
